AFC Bournemouth vs Arsenal: Match Preview

Preview Arsenal travel to The Vitality Stadium to face Eddie Howe's Bournemouth to kick things off on Sunday. The Gunners are on a 16 game unbeaten run, but have drawn in their last four. Bournemouth have been on an excellent run since the start of the season. A win could take The Cherries to sixth in the table, just a point below fifth placed Arsenal. The Gunners though, could minimise the difference between them and Chelsea to just a point, if they get the three points at The Vitality. The last time these teams met at The Vitality, Bournemouth emerged victorious, winning the game 2-1 back in January. Prediction It is definitely not going to be an easy game for Arsenal, particularly with their vulnerable back four. The likes of Ryan Fraser and Callum Wilson could do much damage with the pace, and I hope Unai Emery has some plan to counter that. I think it will be a game of goals, and I'm going for a 2-2 draw. Line Up   Bournemouth :  Begovic; Francis, Co...

Premier League Saturday: Preview

Image
Match Previews The International Break is finally over and once again, Premier League football returns with some promising games this weekend. We kick off this weekend with Leicester City playing away to Brighton and Hove Albion. The last two meetings between the sides ended in 0-2 and 2-0 victories respectively for The Foxes, who are struggling a bit this season. Everton face Cardiff at home, and I honestly expect Everton to easily wrap up this one, with Richarlison in such good form and Sigurdsson returning from an injury as well. Manchester United face Crystal Palace, in what I expect to be a very tough game for Mourinho's men. Palace are too pacy up front, which could cause problems for United's defence. In form Watford face Title condenders Liverpool, who will love to wrap up the three points and put some presure on the Champions Manchester City. Speaking of the Champions, Manchester City travel to London to face former boss Manuel Pellegrin...

International Friendlies : Preview

Image
Previews International Football returns to The Emirates Stadium as The Arsenal home will host the two South American Nations Brazil and Uruguay tonight in a much awaited encounter. It is expected to be a very hard fought game as two very strong teams will battle it out to prove the superiority in South America. The game will also see Arsenal's very own Lucas Torreira at his home stadium but in different colours. In UEFA Nations' League, it is another cracking encounter as World Champions France face Netherlands, who are determined to make their mark after a huge disappointment where they couldn't even make it to the last World Cup. We also have some other International matches as well with Argentina facing Mexico and Chile playing Costa Rica. Both games being very late kickoffs.

International Break: Previews

Image
The International Break has brought a halt to club football as the footballing nations look forward to the UEFA Nations League fixtures. There are a number of interesting games coming our way kicking off with the World Cup finalists Croatia facing the 2014 World Champions Spain tonight. Croatia had suffered a humiliating 6-0 defeat back in September against Spain so will have to put up a more competitive performance in front of the home support tonight.

Manchester Derby: Preview

Image
Match Preview The day has finally come as we look foward to this season's first Manchester Derby. The Etihad will welcome the Red Devils as the defending champions look to defeat their counterparts. United are not quite having the best of seasons, but they walk into this game with a fair bit of confidence. The Red Devils defeated Juventus midweek in the Champions League and now look to do the same with their noisy neighbors. Team News and Line ups Manchester United will be without the injured Paul Pogba, and Alexis Sanchez and Romelu Lukaku start on the bench. For City, Riyad Mahrez starts ahead of Leroy Sane, with the remaining team as expected.

Chelsea vs Everton: Match Preview

Image
Match Preview Chelsea host Everton this weekend at Stamford Bridge. The Blues are yet to be beaten this season and it looks unlikely that it is happening any soon. A win would take Chelsea to second ahead of the Manchester Derby at night. While for the in form Everton, the three points against Chelsea would be some bonus before the International Break. Prediction: Everton are playing well, and Marco Silva's men always have a plan against every opposition they play. So I expect this to be a tough game for Chelsea. But I do think Chelsea will emerge victorious with the quality they have got. I go for a 1-0 victory for The Blues.

Liverpool vs Fulham: Match Preview

Image
Match Preview   Liverpool host Fulham at Anfield as they find an opportunity to climb up the Premier League Table before The Manchester Derby. The Reds are unbeaten in the 11 Premier League games this season and will look to extend that run. Fulham on the other hand, have had a disastrous start to the season after having lost their last six consecutive games. Fulham invested massively in the summer but none of their investments have actually turned up so far. Prediction Liverpool have looked excellent this season and it looks like it will be a very difficult task for Fulham to even find the net, let alone win. I go for a 3-0 victory to Liverpool.

Chelsea vs Crystal Palace: Match Preview

Match Preview Chelsea face Crystal Palace this weekend as Maurizio Sarri's men are boosted with the news of return of the winger Eden Hazard from injury. Chelsea are unbeaten so far in the League and look really solid both offensively and defensively. They have had a few problems with the likes of Alvaro Morata and Olivier Giroud up front but Eden Hazard, Willian and Pedro have made sure the goals do keep coming in. Prediction Everton caused Arsenal some problems last week, and I think they might do the same for Chelsea as well. But I do believe Chelsea will get the three points on the occasion.

Arsenal vs Liverpool: Match Preview

Image
Match Preview   Arsenal host Liverpool at The Emirates on this lovely Saturday night in what promises to be an exciting game.  The Gunners are unbeaten in their last eight Premier League games and will look to extend this run to nine, after a really good start by new coach Unai Emery. The  Gunners however, know the threat that Title Challengers Liverpool posses and how good and clinical their front three is. Klopp has never lost to Arsenal since his move to England and will be very confident coming into this game. Players to watch: For Liverpool fans, the always threatening front three of Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino will be the ones to keep an eye on in this game. While for Arsenal fans, all eyes will be on the League's Top Scorer Pierre Emerick Aubameyang and his strike partner Alexandre Lacazette. Mesut Özil has also been in good form recently and Arsenal fans will be hoping that he performs just like he has been in the recent weeks ag...

Bournemouth vs Manchester United Preview

Preview Bournemouth host Jose Mourinho's men today at the Vitality Stadium in an early kickoff as the Cherries look to continue their good run of games. United have struggled coming into the season so far but have put in some encouraging performances in the last couple of games. Especially against Chelsea, where they managed to get a point against Sarri's team who are undefeated so far. This is just the beginning of a tough run of games that Bournemouth will be going through in the coming week. Bournemouth have to face City, Liverpool and Arsenal as well in the next four weeks. So they should try and get anything possible from these games.
